Leather Jackets Style Guide

A spankin' new leather jacket is one gift that rarely fails to impress - for those fresh out of ideas this holiday season. Kids, adults, family, friends, and even co-workers will all be able to take delight in leather coats! They make great gifts for every occasion for that woman or man, boy or girl in your life; holidays from Christmas to Valentine's, celebrations from birthdays to anniversaries, and school graduation. Why, leather jackets are one of the few gifts that are ideal for Mother's Day and Father's Day alike! There are plenty of styles to choose from:

	Leather Motorcycle Jackets For hardcore people (and hardcore wannabes), there is the motorcycle jacket. This heavily padded leather jacket was made for safety - lucky daredevils! With a classic appearance, they are also called rocker jackets, but don't come with padding or armor if only for fashion. Women's motorcycle jackets are called Mary's jackets. Note: not for the romantic in all of us.
	Leather Bomber Jackets The first bomber jackets, otherwise known as flight jackets, were used by pilots who executed bombing raids. Since cockpits got cold at high elevations, this leather jacket was made to be heavy-duty. Some have sheepskin or silk lining for extra warmth. A bomber jacket is a surefire "gift for him", especially if "he" is not fond of the cold.
	Racing Jackets Certainly the most sporty leather jacket, this is a fitting style for teens, young adults, and older men going through mid-life crises. Racing jackets usually have large stripes on each sleeve and look best with a displayed handful of iron-on patches, which make them look unique. They make awesome graduation presents. For a retirement gift, on the other hand, a racing jacket would be an unusual choice.
	Leather Trench Coats If you want to get technical, a trench coat is not a jacket. It's a coat. Nonetheless, these leather beauties make great presents! The bad news: Men usually have trouble pulling this style off. The good news: Trench coats make people look taller. If the potential owner is short, this (almost) leather jacket will make a lovely "gift for her".
	Leather Blazers This leather jacket is the most professional; a safe choice for any member of one's corporate team. Make the executive choice to give this gift and prepare to receive an enthusiastic "thank you"! So many different people can wear this kind of leather jacket. Is a close friend getting married? Give one to him or her at the wedding! Leather will never go out of style!
